Cynthia Lieberman (born October 30, 1999) better known as her stage name, Cyndi Lights, is an American singer, model, and songwriter.

Early Life (1999-2013)

Lieberman was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida by her parents, Thomas Lieberman, a warehouse worker from Chicago, and her mother Elaine Lieberman (neé Kuznetsova), that is a Russian immigrant and worked as an office secretary. She was also raised with her older step brother from her father's previous relationship. She was brought up with mainly Christian values with some Jewish values along the way, and her parents divorced in 2013 when she was just 14 years old.

Early Career (2012-2017)

Lieberman began music by mixing songs for her step brother's rock band in 2012 at 13 years old. After seeing her talent for it, her brother began to somewhat manage Lieberman as an artist and model, helping her earn a chance to model for fashion brand DollsKill in 2017.

Artistry

Cyndi is a soprano. Her music is an eclectic mix of genres including electronic music, punk pop, synth pop, dream pop, horror pop, and metal. Her influences include Britney Spears, No Doubt, Queen, Hole, Nirvana, The Ting Tings, The Cranberries, Marilyn Manson, The Clash, M.I.A, K.Flay, and Arctic Monkeys.

Career Achievements

Cyndi's debut single Kill V. Maim went viral on the internet after art videos of Cyndi creating the song were posted. The song was streamed over 10,000 times in its first week of being released and sold over 5,000 copies. The singer was signed to Empire Records in January of 2019.
